Acceptable Use Policy
The rules that keep QByte Host fast, stable, and safe for every customer on the network.
Prohibited content and activity
Do not host or distribute illegal content, malware, phishing pages, stolen credentials, child sexual abuse material, or material that infringes intellectual property. Do not use the service to harass, threaten, or defraud others. Do not operate botnets, credential-stuffing tools, or services that exist primarily to facilitate abuse.
Network abuse
You may not launch denial-of-service attacks, port scans, brute-force attempts, spam, or any traffic designed to disrupt a third party. This applies whether the traffic originates from your service or is proxied through it. We may null-route or suspend an IP address immediately when the network is at risk.
Resource usage
Each plan has the CPU, memory, disk, and network limits shown in the product description. Sustained usage that degrades a shared host, exhausts disk space, or bypasses plan limits is not permitted. Crypto-mining, public proxies, and torrent seeding are prohibited on shared and game plans unless explicitly authorised in writing.
Security
Keep your operating system, panel credentials, and applications patched. You are responsible for the content and configuration of your service. Do not attempt to access another customer's service, the hypervisor, the control plane, or any system you are not authorised to use.
Game and voice servers
Game servers must not be used to attack other players, distribute cheats, or run advertising or donation schemes that mislead users. Voice and chat services must comply with applicable recording and consent laws. We may remove content that creates a legal or safety risk.
Enforcement
We review reports in proportion to the risk. Depending on severity, we may ask you to remediate, rate-limit, suspend, or terminate the service. We aim to give notice where practical, but may act immediately for active attacks, illegal content, or law-enforcement requests. Repeat violations may lead to a permanent ban.
Reporting abuse
Report abuse to abuse@qbyte.host with timestamps, IP addresses, and relevant logs or URLs. Please include your contact details so we can follow up. Good-faith reports help us protect the network; knowingly false reports may be disregarded.
